Home Inspections

Big Picture analysis
Your home inspector gives you the Big Picture analysis of the house you are purchasing. Our inspection service is a visual inspection of the structural elements and systems which are accessible.

Our inspections are performed to the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). ASHI is recognized as the leading authority on home inspections across the country and many states that require licensing have based their regulations on the ASHI Standards. Some states, including Missouri, do not require licensing so it is important to adhere to the ASHI Standards.
When should you get a home inspection?

Commercial Inspection

Maximize your investment
Builder For Him LLC will inspect a building’s entire exterior and interior for potential effects, from roof to foundation. Everything will be documented and the recommended steps to solving the issues will be explained thoroughly. Make sure you invest wisely by getting an inspection beforehand and avoid any unwanted surprises after the purchase.

If you already own the property you want us to inspect, it’s good practice to get it inspected every couple of years to make sure there are no issues beginning to form. It’s better and more cost-efficient to catch and fix problems early.

Radon testing

Gas safety inspections
Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural decay of uranium in the soil. The gas then seeps through any access point into a home. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind smoking and in smokers, greatly increases the risk of lung cancer.

This is why it’s important to get your property tested for radon every couple of years, and especially when selling or buying a home or property. Keep your investments safe by being proactive.

Termite inspections

Get rid of pests quickly
Termites can be a property owner’s worst nightmare, once they’re finally noticed, termites might have already caused more damage than one might see with the naked eye. Our certified inspectors can scope out the damage caused under the surface and advice on how best to get rid of these pests.

Deck Inspections

Gas safety inspections
Because decks seem to be easy to build, some people don’t realize that these structures need to be designed to adequately resist certain stresses. These can be weight limits, high winds, snow loads, etc.

Deck stairs especially must be safe, and the handrails must be graspable. A faulty deck could result in serious injury, so it’s important to get it inspected every couple of years. Especially in the summer, when more decks collapse than during the rest of the year combined.
